RISE Youth Night

On Sunday the young people from Whitewell took the Sunday night service.

It was a night full of worship, life stories, and a powerful message of hope.

The night started opened with the Well Band, led by Mark Sewell, singing a song, which he wrote, ‘Stand in Awe’.

After that, Emily Joyce and Chris Moffitt shared their stories of what God had done in their lives, and how in different ways God had rescued them from a life going to waste. Instead now they have purpose and a hope in Jesus Christ.

Nathan Jess, a talented singer/ songwriter also joined us to sing two songs.

Finally at the end of the night Stuart Hawthorne brought a message of how Jesus meets our greatest need, the need to be forgiven, and how life is only found in him.

After the service was over, the youth center was open for young people to come across to for an acoustic café with Rebecca Teeney and tea, coffee and food. It was so good to see many strangers and visitors who had come to RISE.
