Statement by Pastor McConnell

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and their prayers and the thousands of words of encouragement given.

I never intended this to be a slight on the Muslim community that live in our country.  I intended this to be about the Muslim faith, the Muslim system, the Muslim precepts, and about fundamentalist Muslims and the cell groups of terrorists throughout the UK. In fact, when I mentioned the cell groups in my sermon the normal Muslim in Northern Ireland was not even remotely in my mind.

My only difficulty regarding the Muslim individual is that they are under bondage to Sharia law, including the stoning, amputation, mutilation, and killing which is barbaric, and which is heathen.

But in no way, and I have repeated this a thousand times, would I harm a hair on a Muslim’s head.

I want them to know that I am their servant for Christ’s sake and if they need me they will not be disappointed.

May God Bless you all, and don’t forget this church has been and still is here for all people, of all faiths. We have only one message to proclaim and nothing else, Jesus Christ is the same, Yesterday, Today and Forever.

Pastor James McConnell.
