Whitewell announces new children's worker

We’re delighted to announce that Cherith McClure has joined the staff of Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle as children’s worker.

Cherith has been involved in our children’s ministries for a number of years, helping run our Summer Bible Weeks, and through involvement in other ministries such as children’s church. Previously employed as a children’s worker for another organization Cherith has many years of experience in working with children in a professional capacity. We’re delighted to have her on board.

“Cherith’s appointment further strengthens our Children’s work” said Senior Pastor David Purse – “This compliments the work that Stephen Campbell is already doing amongst the youth and young adults of the church”

“I want our Children’s ministries to reach our both into our Church family, and into our local area -  children from church, and children outside church.” said Cherith. ”We’re already doing a great work but there’s more that we can do. I’m here now as a point of contact for all our children’s ministries. Keep me, and all our ministries in your prayers – there are so many things that we could do, and I’m trusting the Lord for wisdom that we can do the right things to make an impact.”

On behalf of the staff and members of the Tabernacle we want to both thank Cherith for taking on the role, and assure her of our prayers in the days to come.
