Southern Gospel night raises money for Ethiopia

A southern Gospel concert, held in the main sanctuary this year, had over 700 in attendance. This annual concert, organised by the Ehiopian mission has had many artists take part over the years, and this year had an excellent line-up of gospel singers, both locally, and from Scotland.. For around £8 those in attendance were able to enjoy all the singers, watch a video presentation showing the updated work in Ethiopia, and enjoy a supper together.

Headlining the concert this year were the scottish group - the Gospel Heirs, bringing along with them the excellent Sara McGeachy.  The Gospel heirs haven't ministered in Northern Ireland for quite a number of years and it was a real pleasure to hear them again.

Also we were delighted to welcome local artist Heather Vient - it was her first time ministering at the Tabernacle and we enjoyed her ministry - just Heather and the piano - and a number of very well played and sung pieces.

Lastly it's always our delight to have had Alex Robb with us again. Alex is one of the top gospel vocalists here in Northern Ireland, and has ministered here many times now - and as always he never fails to touch the hearts of the people listening with his from-the-heart ministry.

The concert is available on DVD here at the tabernacle. For more information contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Thank you to one and all who took part, to each person who attended, all those who have purchased the DVD, and, on behalf of all the team in Ethiopia, thanks to each person who continues to support this ministry. All the proceeds raised from the concert goes to the mission work in Ethiopia.
