Befrienders Charity Shop Now Open

The Befrienders have become a registered UK charity and they have just opened their own charity shop.

The opening of our new Charity Shop could be monumental in it's possibilities. It could release the Befienders financially to realise a fantastic future for our charitable outreach, both spiritually and by meeting the very basic needs of life. It would also enable us to put into action many plans we believe the Lord has put on our hearts.

Our shop is totally dedicated to the cause and the Kingdom of the Lord and for this reason we value the continued support and prayers of our brothers and sisters at Whitewell, that together more may be accomplished in His name for His glory.

The new shop, opened on 10th February 2014, will be staffed by volunteers from the Metropolitan Tabernacle including people who have visited the Sanctuary for Sick Children in Kenya. The shop accepts donations of good quality  furniture and most household items.

Proceeds from the shop go to the newly formed charity which will work disabled people at home and in Kenya.

The brand new shop, located at the Throne Centre Retail Area on the Whitewell Road, is already well stocked with items that have been generously donated by members of the church.

Here's a short video clip recording the opening of the store.
