Hear Crusaders’ Stephen Baxter tell his life story

First a player, and now today the manager of Crusaders Football Club, Stephen Baxter has been heavily involved in the Northern Ireland professional football scene since 1985. As the manager of Crusaders for the last 11 years,  his success has included winning the NIFL Premiership, the Irish Cup, The Irish League and a number of other titles. The team under his management has just won back to back league titles for the first time ever in the history of the club.

Success on and off the pitch, definitely; but there is more to the life of Baxter than his achievements in sport. Stephen is a Christian, a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, with his eye on a greater prize than any the sporting world can offer.  You can hear him tell his story here at the Whitewell Tabernacle on Sunday Night 29th May at 6.45pm.  The service will include music from our worship band and choir, and a closing word from Pastor David Purse.

This promises to be a great night and everyone is welcome.  If you are or your friends are Crusaders supporters why not use this opportunity to hear first-hand Stephen’s story.
