More than 350 children crammed into the McConnell Youth Centre on Sunday 19 February for our annual Open Sunday school event.
Led by Frankie Weir, the programme included choruses sung by various Sunday schools, a drama item from the Larne Sunday school and two special drama events performed by the Blaze Gap Year team.
The word was brought by long serving and faithful Sunday school veteran teacher, Stephen Hill.

His Bangor Sunday school has gone from strength to strength over the years. Stephen chose as his text – the story of David and Goliath – his use of slides and other visual aids a big factor in keeping the attention of the large gathering of children in attendance.
Of course, the Open Sunday school would not be complete without the memory verse T-Shirt competition – this year won by the Whitewell Sunday School.
Our thanks go to all those who sacrifice each week to teach the children and to our Sunday school Superintendant Frankie Weir for his faithfulness to this most important post.
