A Bible readers guide - a big success so far!

Pastor David Purse’s Bible Study series entitled -“A Bible readers’ guide” is proving a big hit with the Whitewell people as the pastor takes us through the scriptures beginning with the New Testament.

A very effective feature of this series has been the distributing of sermon notes prior to the address itself, which help not only with the evening in question, but are also very useful for home bible study.

It’s a series, which even Pastor David admits, could take some time to complete, but in the end the members of the Tabernacle will be better informed. The series commenced with the Nativity scene, the incarnation and the life of Christ, followed by the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.

Recently there have been excellent further studies on the books of Matthew and Mark  respectively which have thrilled the Whitewell congregation who have been showing up in numbers each Wednesday evening.

We are all looking forward with great anticipation to learning more about the book of John, the Acts of the Apostles, Romans, Corinthians and many of the other epistles in the weeks to come.
