Everest Team makes base camp

Congratulations to the Everest team who achived their goal of reaching base camp, and are now home again. The Team managed to raise £50,000 for the missionary work in Kenya.

Seventeen of the team made the complete journey to base camp, climbing over glaciers and witnessing two avalanches to get there. They had to hike for 10 hours that day.

Everyone was tired but excited at achieving their goal. Then followed two days heading down the mountain to reach 11,000ft back to the town of Namche Bazaar.
